Modelling of prehospital critical care asset locations for out-of-hospital cardiac arrest patients.
This server hosts a set of interactive applications developed in collaboration with NHS ambulance services and air ambulance charities. They aim to model optimal asset configurations, interactively visualise results, and support strategic and operational planning decisions.
The tools apply location-allocation methods to model the optimal configuration given user set parameters. Users may interactively adjust number of additional bases, helicopter availability, response time threshold, and demand weighting. Displayed outputs include maps of overall neighbourhood coverage, response time, coverage of previously high-risk and low-attendance neighbourhoods, graph of marginal gains, and a configuration summary with equity indicators.
There is no index of applications on this page. Access is by direct link, which has been shared with collaborators and participating services.
